Our theme is ‘Enchanted Forest’ to celebrate the tree in our newly renovated store, so the store will be decorated and staff will be dressing up accordingly (customers are welcome to join in and dress up too!)
There will be storytimes throughout the day, face painting, and a colouring in competition.
There will also be a raffle running with several book bundles to give away.
And make sure to check out the social media competition currently running: take a photo of yourself in front of our new tree and tag us on social media for your chance to win a $50 gift voucher!

Celebrate Love Your Bookshop Day at your favourite independent bookshop on Hindley Street! On Saturday 10 August from 9:00am until 5:00pm join us for complimentary drinks and nibbles with bubbles after 12:00pm.
Every customer who spends $25 or more on the day will go into the draw to win fabulous prizes including bags of books, limited edition releases, and a one-night stay for two in the picturesque McLaren Vale.
Mostly Books
Come along to celebrate the magic of books with us on national Love Your Bookshop Day. There will be activities, giveaways, facepainting and a raffle throughout the day. We will also be raising money for United Way South Australia, an organisation providing books and literacy programs to children in disadvantaged communities. Proceeds from every Possum Magic plush toy sold will go towards their valuable work. Bring your family and friends along to share the fun on Saturday, August 10!
