10am: Stardust School of Dance with Zanni Louise - learn to dance, listen to Zanni read from her books, and make a dance tiara!
11am to 4pm: Drop in for face-painting and create your own musical instruments with recycled materials.
1pm: West End Neighbourhood Scavenger Hunt
3pm: Preserving judging, Cake Off + Flash Fiction Reading. Winners will be announced!
There will also be:
- A bundle of books that you can win if you guess the number of pages
- Blind Date With a Book: make a donation to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and pick up a mystery book
- Special Love Your Bookshop badges designed by Jubly-Umph and only available for purchase on the day
- Other surprises and lots of fun!

The Prize
We are offering one lucky prize winner the chance to win one night’s stay for two at Bendooley Estate in Berrima, NSW*. You’ll be treated to one night’s accommodation for two in one of Bendooley Estate’s luxury cottages, a complimentary charcuterie board and a bottle of wine from the Estate’s vineyard during your stay.
To enter, simply spend $50 or more in one transaction between Thursday August 1st and Saturday August 10th for your chance to win. You may enter as many time as you like during the competition. Competition closes Saturday August 10th at 6pm.

There will be one runner-up prize for each BOOK FACE store, consisting of a pack of six books**.

On Saturday 10th of August, hand over your phones for one hour (we promise we will care for them) and you will be blessed with a sublime uninterrupted screen free hour to READ.

- A Fancy Dress Competition that will be running throughout the day. Dress up as your favourite book character to win prizes. All of the staff will be dressed up throughout the day!

Rosetta Books
Join children’s author and performer Emma Middleton for a fun-filled puppet show and storytelling featuring The Lion in our Living Room, and The Bear in our Backyard. The theatrical show is filled to the brim with audience participation, singing, dancing, and themes of friendship and fun.
Children must be accompanied by a parent.

Come and join us on a Saturday afternoon to meet children's author Caz Goodwin! Caz will be bringing along a special guest, Lazy Daisy the Koala!
All of Jasper's dreams come true when he finds his very own 'puppy dog' to walk in Centenary Park. But Daisy the 'dog' isn't much of a walker — she tends to spend most of her day climbing gumtrees and dozing. If only someone would explain to Jasper that Daisy is a koala, NOT a dog! Just as Jasper's about to give up on his dream, he has a madcap idea of how Daisy can still join him on his daily walk, whether she's asleep or not. Lazy Daisy is a hilarious rhyming story that will have kids doubled over with laughter.
